Energy Services Division

Industry Veteran Will Lead Site Controls’ Efforts to Deliver Value to Utility Customers Through its Clean Energy Platform

AUSTIN, Texas – April 23, 2007 Site Controls, the pioneer of Internet-based clean energy and business intelligence solutions, today announced it has appointed Chris Hickman as president of its Energy Services Division.  Mr. Hickman, a 17 year industry veteran, will lead the company as it continues to further its long-standing efforts to help utility and retail electric provider (REP) customers to leverage technology to improve their operations and profits.

Site Controls’ Energy Services Division provides significant value to energy suppliers by leveraging the technology and installed base of the Site-Command™ platform (see related release dated April 9, 2007).  The Energy Services Division delivers infrastructure visibility, cost-effective and carbon-negative demand response, spinning reserve, and energy efficiency offerings to leading utilities and retail electric providers.

Mr. Hickman comes to Site Controls from Cellnet Technology, where he was the executive vice president of regulatory affairs and business solutions.  In his role, Mr. Hickman led the alignment of corporate strategy with regulatory involvement at the federal, state, and international level.  Prior to Cellnet, Mr. Hickman was the president of Utility Analytics and worked for 10 years in various executive-level positions at PNM Resources. Mr. Hickman brings extensive experience in engineering, federal and state policy development, infrastructure planning and budgeting, environmental management systems for coal and natural gas generation plants, and telecommunications to Site Controls. He is also a frequent speaker to Congress, regulatory organizations such as the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and at a variety of industry leadership conferences.
